In order to become a member of the EU, the Czech Republic has to meet two major criteria: to create a fully functioning market economy and to be able to cope with both the competitive pressures and market forces that exist within the Union. This speech addresses the integration process of the Czech Republic especially about changes that will be brought by monetary policy. Some possible scenarios are made in macroeconomic terms.
